Biography and expertise

Alexandru Popovici is Director in the field of Factory and Plant Structure Planning at TMG Consultants since 2021, he has been leading the Eastern Europe office as Managing Director based in Bucharest, Romania for over 10 years.

Alexandru Popovici started his career as a consultant in 2005, during his part-time MBA studies, which he successfully completed in 2006. Since the beginning, he has worked for clients and projects in Eastern Europe and internationally, leading interdisciplinary teams and planning and implementing several production sites.

Before joining TMG Consultants, Mr. Popovici graduated from the University of Stuttgart with a degree in Architecture, and later completed a part-time MBA in General Management at the University of Steinbeis Berlin. Today, Mr. Popovici advises clients from various sectors of the manufacturing industry, especially in the selection of suitable production locations, new plant construction or relocation, logistics or production optimization or purchasing and procurement issues.
