Biography and expertise

Dr. Carsten Pohlmann is a partner and has been with TARGUS since 2008. He specializes in the management of major projects across the entire EPC process (Engineering, Procurement, Construction). Thanks to his professional background in various industries and operational responsibility in plant construction, he has helped shape and continuously develop this area at TARGUS.

Holding a doctorate in Physics, he contributes analytical thinking and can indentify the necessary areas for action in complex projects and implement concrete improvements. The focus is on creating measurability and a change to a fact-based approach.

In addition to his consulting experience, he has 10 years of industry experience ranging from development engineering to operational management of a division.

Internally Carsten Pohlmann‘s focus is in the area of project management. Thematic areas are covered across the entire life cycle along with methods for proactive project management. In addition, Dr. Carsten Pohlmann has performed other interim duties.
