Praktikum als Visiting Associate
As a visiting associate, you will take on all the tasks of a consultant. As part of an internship of at least 12 weeks, you will be deployed like an Associate and will be a fully-fledged part of a project team. You will support the team in carrying out analyses and research, take responsibility for individual work packages and develop new solutions with the team. Whenever possible, you will experience our day-to-day work in direct contact with our clients on site. And because we are convinced that you will quickly make a real contribution to value, we will also remunerate your work attractively.

Mit Bachelor-Abschluss als Junior Associate
Als Junior Associate bist Du vom ersten Tag an Teil unserer Projektteams und arbeitest wie ein:e Associate. Du hast jedoch weitere erfahrenere Berater:innen an Deiner Seite. Anders als bei Associates ist die Arbeit erst einmal zeitlich begrenzt: Nach 2 Jahren ermuntern wir Dich, Deine Ausbildung mit einem Masterstudium zu vervollständigen. Natürlich unterstützen wir Dich dabei – denn wir wünschen uns, dass Du mit den neu hinzugewonnenen Erfahrungen anschließend zu uns zurückkehrst.
Mit Master-Abschluss oder Promotion als Associate
Associate ist die „typische“ Einstiegsposition bei undconsorten. Zusammen mit erfahrenen Kolleg:innen treibst Du von Anfang an Klientenprojekte voran. Du recherchierst selbstständig, führst Interviews, strukturierst und analysierst Daten, entwickelst mit dem Team Lösungen für die Herausforderungen unserer Klienten und bereitest diese für die Entscheidungsfindung auf. Du hilfst bei der Vorbereitung und Durchführung von Workshops und übernimmst im Laufe der Zeit mehr und mehr Verantwortung für gesamte Arbeitspakete, die Du auch Klienten gegenüber vertrittst. Außerdem kannst Du als Buddy nachfolgende Consorten beim Einstieg begleiten. Je nach Lernkurve steht nach 1–2 Jahren die Beförderung zum/r Senior Associate an. Deine Kolleg:innen in den Projektteams und unser Entwicklungsangebot sorgen erfahrungsgemäß dafür, dass dieser Schritt gelingt.
Having a MBA or PhD-Degree, the typical entry-level position at undconsorten is Associate . Together with experienced colleagues, you will drive client projects forward right from the start. You will research independently, conduct interviews, structure and analyze data, develop solutions for our clients‘ challenges with the team and prepare them for decision-making. You will help with the preparation and implementation of workshops and, over time, take on more and more responsibility for entire work packages, which you will also represent to clients. As a buddy, you can also accompany subsequent consorts as they get started. Depending on your learning curve, you may be promoted to Senior Associate. Experience has shown that your colleagues in the project teams and our development program will ensure that this step is successful.
Mit 2–3 Jahren Berufserfahrung als Senior Associate
Mit 2–3 Jahren relevanter Berufserfahrung steigst Du bei uns in der Regel als Senior Associate ein. Idealerweise bringst Du Beratungserfahrung oder beratungsähnliche Erfahrung aus der Industrie mit, z. B. in den Bereichen Strategie oder Business Development. Du wirst die ersten 3–6 Monate ähnlich wie ein:e Associate eingesetzt und machst Dich mit unserem Beratungsansatz und den Beratungsfeldern vertraut. Schrittweise übernimmst Du mehr Verantwortung für eigene Arbeitsstränge und kleinere Projekte. Angesichts der dynamischen Entwicklung von undconsorten bieten sich darüber hinaus jederzeit Möglichkeiten, aktiv die Firma weiterzuentwickeln.
Mit über 3 Jahren Berufserfahrung als Project Manager oder Associate Principal
Mit mehr als 3 Jahren Erfahrung in der Top-Management-Beratung hast Du die Möglichkeit, Dich bei uns als Project Manager oder Associate Principal zu bewerben. Neben der operativen Leitung mehrerer anspruchsvoller Projekte gehören die persönliche und fachliche Entwicklung unserer Berater:innen sowie der weitere Aufbau unserer Firma zu Deinem Aufgabenprofil. Du wirst zunächst vorzugsweise auf Projekten und Themen angesetzt, bei denen Du Deine Stärken und Deine bereits aufgebauten Klientenbeziehungen voll ausspielen kannst. Währenddessen erhältst Du Unterstützung durch eine:n ebenfalls seniore:n „Buddy“, der:die Dir den Start bei uns erleichtert.
Jakubs Weg zum Senior Associate bei undconsorten
Of course we are. We are looking for talents from all disciplines. In order to be able to advise our clients at a high professional level, a mixture of different academic backgrounds and perspectives is important to us. Applicants‘ backgrounds are already taken into account during the interview process, so you won’t be at a disadvantage here.
We can customize your work schedule. As a rule, a certain rotation soon emerges. This allows you to plan your time and gives us a better overview of which tasks are best taken on by which working student.
In principle, you will be responsible for several projects at the same time.
At undconsorten, we use the interviewer-led case format. This means that you will be asked specific questions and given time to analyze and answer them. You can find lots of exercises and examples on the Internet.
Yes, we look forward to receiving your reapplication. For a successful reapplication, you should have gained more practical experience since the rejection and/or be able to demonstrate further academic achievements. Experience has shown that visible personal development occurs at the earliest after a period of 12 to 18 months.
