Biography and expertise

Sven Mueller is a Partner in the Munich office. He has joined Altman Solon in 2005 and was one of the founding members of the firm’s London office. Sven Mueller has headed Altman Solon’s fiber practice since 2009. 

Sven Mueller is an expert for the development and implementation of growth strategies for European telecommunications companies. His work has included go-to-market, product development and network deployment strategies for incumbents, fiber challengers, mobile, and cable network operators. He has helped operators conceptualize and implement structural separations and has ensured the successful launch of an incumbent NetCo post separation. He has helped telcos defining their wholesale and cooperation strategies with utilities and other telcos. In addition, he has been advising numerous investors in this business with both commercial and technical due diligence support.

Sven Mueller studied business at the University of Mannheim in Germany and Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan, Italy.
